also, what are your thoughts on the evel knievel coaster? i didn't get to ride it on last saturday.|||I do. I think that Six Flags St. Louis needs rehab too. Like new pavement, better scenery, wider paths, less dead ends, and more benches. I don't like Hurricane Harbor anyway. It is really dirty. They only have a few water rides. It's pretty boring. But Six Flags St. Louis has improved a lot in just 2 years. They've added Bugs Bunny National Park for the kids in 2006, along with the intense 230 foot high freefall tower Superman Tower of Power. And in 2007 they added the family roller coaster Tony Hawk's Big Spin. In 2008 they added the amazingly smooth and fast Evel Knievel. They've also cleaned up the park a lot. Much nicer than before 2006. About the expansion: I think that Hurricane Harbor should go, and the park should expand. They could add a lot more rides. Hurricane Harbor is just not needed. I think that they should try to compete with Cedar Point, even though Six Flags Magic Mountain is Cedar Point's main competitor. They could even build the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster. My thoughts on Evel Knievel: Great ride! It is pretty small, it is only 85 feet tall and reaches 50 mph, and it is very compact. But that makes 50 mph seem like 200 mph when you are flying through those flyover curves and over those small bunny hills. Plus, it is the SMOOTHEST roller coaster at Six Flags, yes the smoothest even if it is made of wood! It has like 6 inches of padding. You don't even feel a bump. The front seat is the best on Evel Knievel, but the back seat is the best on the other roller coasters at Six Flags St. Louis. And if you haven't ridden Superman Tower of Power yet, you need to ride it-it has an amazing view and an intense freefall.|||no one because St Louis sucks.|||evel knievel is a kiddy ride compared to the boss. cedar point makes 6 flags looks like a kiddy park. I know because I have been to both parks. look up cedar point on the net. you'll want to be there!|||I agree...I don't like Hurricane harbor at all. Somebody else already mentioned it's dirty, but on top of that....the rules are completely stupid...ex: you are only allowed to go around once in the lazy river....unless you purchase a tube. If you wanna go to a good water park and amusment park....go to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari...it's awesome!! Also....Cedar Point if you just want an awesome amusement park. But I don't think Hurricane Harbor will ever be taken outta SFSL :(|||yeah get ride of the damn thing i was in it once i hated it. they should close it and build nothing but more roller coasters over it. as for the evel knievel coaster it was great i rode it twice yesterday but its nothing compared to the boss.
